How does it work?
Technically speaking, the Geekalizer processes your blog and analyzes the frequency of 17,259 computer-geek-related words to determine your Geekalizer score. Both the diversity of words and the ratio of geeky to non-geeky words are taken into account. The computer-geek-related words were generated from FOLDOC and filtered for common words through a corpus of exemplar texts from Project Gutenberg.

Possible Issues

The Geekalizer can only access your public postings.
You may be more geeky than you appear in the Geekalizer because you use advanced geeky terminology that the Geekalizer doesn't know.
